Responsibilities for the role will include:
Understanding the IMA strategy and how various initiatives across Amgen IS contribute to realizing the strategy.
Developing and implementing Communication Plans.
Designing and maintaining the IMA Intranet site.
Developing and maintaining standard communication tools and templates that leaders within IMA can use for engaging with their stakeholders and business partners.
Meeting regularly with IMA Leadership and Service Owners to continue to refine the communication strategy and materials as the IMA Strategy and Services evolve.
Basic Qualifications Doctorate degree & 2 years of Information Systems experience OR Masters degree & 6 years of Information Systems experience OR Bachelors degree & 8 years of Information Systems experience OR Associates degree & 10 years of Information Systems experience OR High school diploma / GED & 12 years of Information Systems experience Preferred Qualifications B.A. (or higher) in English, communications, journalism or related field.
Prior experience in developing communications in an Information Systems context.
Proven writing skills on a variety of topics and for different audiences.
Ability to communicate visually, as well as verbally and in writing.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing priorities.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Focus on accuracy, and attention to detail.
Strong team player, with the ability to make connections across a cross-functional, global team.
Experience building and managing SharePoint sites.
Prior experience in practice consulting, particularly with an emphasis on Analytics, Enterprise Content Management, or Collaboration & Enterprise Social.
Experience working in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industries.
