Flexible hours and working close to home As Certified Nursing Assistant you will:
Ensures quality and safe delivery of Personal Care Services per written plan of care.
Communicates with Nursing Supervisor/Case Manager on a regular basis regarding changes in the patient's conditions and or needs.
Performs duties as listed on the personal care/companion assignment sheet.
Performs procedures at a level of care standard within the medical community and follows Agency's current policies and procedures.
Completes CNA documentation notes daily.
Maintains a clean, safe and healthy environment for patients, observing infection control protocol.
Consistently displays a clean appearance and appropriate conduct in all settings.
Interpersonal and interagency relationships are to be positive and professional at all times.
Assumes responsibility and displays reliability for the completion of all tasks, duties, communications and actions as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Demonstrates safe transfer, positioning and mobilization techniques.
Recognizes emergencies and basic changes in the patient's condition and acts appropriately on those observations.
Assists the patient in self-medication.
Attends in-service education, utilization review and team conferences.
Participates in patient care conferences.
Supports the mission and goals of the Agency.
Prepares and submits, as directed, all case documentation and required payroll information on a weekly basis.
Participates in performance improvement activities.
Accepts other duties as assigned.
Including but not limited to -
Qualifications:
Six Months to (1) one year of previous experience with references.
Current, active California CNA certificate with criminal background check.
