Job Details:
Front line person for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Greets and registers out patients for all imaging areas.
Retrieves all faxed orders for inpatients an from doctors offices.
Enters all patients in RIS computer and prepares film jackets.
Prepares daily schedule for all modalities.
Assists Radiologist and staff physicians in locating film jackets and reports.
Answers all telephone calls.
Responsible for distributing all reports to doctors offices and nursing units.
Assists copy services with subpoenaed films.
High School diploma or equivalent.
1 year experience in a health care facility and secretarial skills preferred.
