Job Description Description The Landscape Maintenance Account Manger must be proficient in performing all tasks of landscape maintenance.
This position manages landscape maintenance accounts, and acts as an intermediary between landscape maintenance field operations and company management; additionally acts as direct customer representative.
Requirements Be able to work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time Act as liaison between company management and maintenance field operations.
Effectively and expeditiously produce proposals, and process work orders Manage multiple landscape maintenance accounts and coordinate company resources.
Deliver estimates to prospective clients within 5 business days.
Deliver estimates for extra work at existing projects within 3 business days.
Communicate the company goals, policies, and procedures concerning landscape maintenance.
Possess a CLT certification in landscape maintenance or equivalent college courses.
Water Auditor Certification is a plus Have a minimum of 3 years of managing experience.
JOB SKILLS Manage all assigned maintenance contracts and customer files.
Schedule and supervise the training of field personnel on all maintenance equipment.
Ensures that office building and grounds are routinely maintained.
Order and schedule material or equipment deliveries for landscape maintenance sites.
Supervise and ensure maximum efficiency at multiple landscape maintenance projects.
Manage and dispatch all subcontractors on assigned landscape maintenance projects Schedule work force and equipment to complete seasonal or extra work projects on assigned landscape maintenance accounts.
Communicate needs on landscape maintenance projects to Division Manager and field staff effectively.
Recruit, interview, hire, discipline, evaluate and terminate all landscape maintenance field staff as necessary.
Mediate personnel, equipment, and customer problems with input from supervisor and foreman.
Oversee, implement, and ensure training of field staff.
Implement IPM, and water efficiency techniques.
Review worksheets for accuracy and completeness and turn into office staff for processing.
Ensures that delivery tickets and purchase orders are correctly coded with project name and are turned into office staff daily for processing.
Follow established equipment and vehicle preventive maintenance program Manage inventory of materials used for landscape maintenance department.
Estimate and sell landscape maintenance work and extra work on existing landscape maintenance projects.
Conduct walkthroughs with clients and with maintenance supervisor.
Schedule and attend start-up meeting with client, maintenance supervisor, and maintenance foreman.
Present operating instructions and as-built plans (if needed) to clients during final walkthrough.
Be proficient using MS Office, and be able to type 30
words per minute.
Strong communication skills including reading, writing, and speaking in English.
(Bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
