we are located in Ventura country right on the coast, just a moments walk from the beach.
We started this company as an effort to reach a hand out to those suffering from chemical dependency and substance use disorders, our founders having it directly affect members of their own families.
We are a six bed detox and residential program, with a clinical focus structured around 30 days time with an emphasis on aftercare planning.
We focus our clinical product around physically and medically stabilizing the patient, providing a foundational framework of understanding recovery elements, and handling immediate emotional crisis with effective intervention tools.
We are a new facility and we are very excited to begin the process of hiring and onboarding new team members that will share and promote our goals in servicing patients with the highest quality of care, we hope to hear from you all! Behavioral Health Technician Support Staff are responsible for the shift-by-shift supervision of the client milieu and attending to client's essential needs while on detoxification protocols.
Job Duties:
Completion of all basic client supervision duties and/or documentation within Program and timelines Client rounds on a hour basis with documentation in KIPU Responsible to read shift log at beginning of shift and complete their own shift log and essential tasks contained therein by conclusion of shift Complete new admission intake procedures according to program policies on all new admissions (UA, belongings searches, paperwork) Documentation of daily progress in client files.
Overnight staff:
to document quantity and quality of sleep in progress notes Conducting recovery groups for clients in residential level of care and documenting these groups Transporting clients (discharges, intakes, etc) Keeping house clean Crisis Intervention Remain in compliance with HIPPA Filing, making copies, other office duties as assigned Assist with household chores and help with the overall functioning of the facility (general cleanliness and safety of the house) which includes but is not limited to laundry (washing, folding, putting away), bathroom inventory (stocking toilet paper, paper towels, wiping down counters, empty trash, cleaning mirrors), food handling (daily check of any expired food items from the fridge & ensuring that all food items are labeled with date of expiration), and maintain cleanliness of rooms and common areas throughout the facility (sweeping and mopping).
