Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for scheduling surgical procedures utilizing established guidelines.
Coordinates and Schedules surgical/medical procedures & resources.
Accurately enters surgical data and generates surgical charges.
This position will use organizational skills, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills when working with staff, physicians and physician offices.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent Medical Terminology knowledge Customer service experience with multiple phone lines Preferred:
Surgical or Medical procedure knowledge Minimum Six (6) months experience in a fast paced medical or surgical environment.
Minimum Six (6) months experience of hospital or medical office scheduling experience Overview:
