This role involves basic supervision, coordination, and collaboration of QC functions and overall QMS to ensure compliance of the acceptance activities and product specifications.
Supports the coordination and presentation of MRB meetings.
Act as liaison in the manufacturing site and suggest improvements for production and warehouse related functions to support the compliance of the site.
Duties/Responsibilities Coordinate and lead a team of QC Inspectors (I, II, III) under the guidance of the QC Supervisor.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, act as a liaison between depts.
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
Oversee quality assurance checks on finished products.
Address and resolve any quality issues promptly via NCP or other QMS elements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
Suggests and implements changes via ECN Process.
Collaborate with management to communicate QC related updates and challenges via MRB meetings.
Contribute to strategic planning for the QC department.
Other duties as assigned.
Special Knowledge/Skill High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in management or related fields is a plus; or certifications in leadership/management programs (preferred).
Extensive experience in QC inspections Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
In-depth knowledge of SOPs and quality control processes.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Quality Inspection role with leadership responsibilities; or 3-5 years of experience with AVITA Medical.
In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
