Summary:
To proactively monitor the utilization of continuum services and optimize reimbursement for AVDMH.
Shifts and Schedule 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday Day shift Weekends and holidays off Job Requirements Clinical degree such as nursing, social work, psychology, health information management or other related healthcare field is preferred or related experience.
Minimum Work Experience Familiar with psychiatric setting and knowledge of health care service delivery systems, and third-party reimbursement.
Knowledge of managed care environment, familiarity with medical terminology, and treatment modalities.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, evaluative, and time management skills along with policy interpretation skills.
Must have familiarity with applicable standards and regulations and responsiveness to deadlines; must be assertive, and persuasive and be able to work with minimal direction or supervision.
Minimum one year experience in nursing, preferably in utilization reviewmust be assertive, and persuasive and able to work with minimal direction or supervision.
