Credit Analyst - (Ventura County, CA)

Primary responsibility is to determine if customer is credit worthy. Will set up new accounts, process credit applications, determine increase or decrease credit limit, create invoices and do back-end collections. Understand A/R and skip tracing, bankruptcy paperwork and tracking. Work with customers to facilitate payment. Work with sales and management regarding accounts and make suggestions for collection and write off. Update customer information as needed. Source:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
