Responsibilities:
Gather Requirements, conduct Business Analysis, and write Technical Design Specifications Design and Build ETL solutions utilizing Data Analysis, Dimensional Modeling and ETL Design Design Physical, Business Model and Presentation layers using OBIEE; define logical views and physical data Security structures ETL performance tuning, Optimization, Code Quality and Standards Design, document, and develop OBIEE11g Reports/Dashboards OBIEE Administration activities including Security, Configuration, and Maintenance Define Test Scenarios and Build/Execute Test Plan Assist with performance tuning as it relates to OBIEE dashboards, analyses, and prompts Maintain and Support DAC nightly schedule OBIEE Migration, including RPD, DAC, Informatica and Web Catalog Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science or comparable major 3
years of experience required in related field (i.
e.
ETL, Data Warehousing and SDLC) 3
years of experience working with Informatica ETL tool (design and development) Experience in the design, architecture for an ETL solution, including Data analysis, Dimensional Modeling and ETL Design using Informatica in a Data warehousing environment Strong data analysis skills, Dimensional Modeling, experiences in designing Star Schemas.
3 years of hands-on experience with OBIEE 11g Basic OBIEE administration (manages web catalog objects, archive/unarchive, set permissions and ownership, start/stop server, deploy RPD, etc.
) OBIEE RPD development, including the design and creation of dimensions, hierarchies, and logical data sources, etc.
Hands-on experience using Data Warehouse Application Console (DAC) Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH) and ETL concepts, ETL loading strategy, Data archiving, Data reconciliation, ETL Error Handling, Error logging mechanism, standards and best practices.
Ability to write OBIEE logical SQL BI Publisher report development a plus Experience implementing reporting with large ERP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SAP strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.
Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
Ability to be an effective team member and handle project leadership responsibility.
