Dynamic and numerous award winning Environmental Consulting Firm specializing in providing site investigation and remediation services for federal clients such as USEPA, DOD, DOE, USACE, US Navy, ect; actively seeks Environmental Consulting Services Business Developer to join our thriving team in Ventura, CA office.
This is a long term full time career advancing opportunity to join one of our growing California offices as a Business Development professional. Ideal candidates must have good knowledge of the environmental remediation industry and the Federal Government project type market place.
Our firm primarily aids in supporting USEPA and DOD contracts. Such environmental projects will include environmental site investigations, environmental sampling, oversight of contaminants removal activities and remediation, operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of remediation systems, and occasional emergency responses assignments.
Position Qualifications & Experience Needed:
Must possess experience managing highly complex environmental remediation efforts for federal project sites, coupled with a proven track record of pursuing and capturing project work from existing and/or new clients. (Required)
Must have prior Environmental Consulting Services industry business development and client interaction skills and experience.
Knowledge of the environmental remediation industry (soil vapor extraction, air sparging, pump and treat, in-situ chemical oxidation, in-situ bioremediation)
A Bachelors degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental), Geology, Environmental Science or a related discipline; Masters degree or higher and/or Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP), Professional Geologist (PG), Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

years of progressive experience providing technical environmental consulting support to federal clients.
Established relationships with clients and ability to leverage these relationships to increase business revenue.
Qualified candidates will also be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain an account for an extended period of time as a result of client satisfaction
A proven business development track record of pursuing and capturing additional project work, which includes performing market analysis, generating leads, creating proposals, and conducting sales presentations
Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, technical writing, presentation, and client service skills are required
