Therapist- FT Mon-Fri 10-7
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Provide direct care services to clients' in-custody and in an office setting. Ensure fidelity of evidence based program.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
None for this position
Essential Functions:
Client Services:
Provide direct care services to clients including: developing assessments, group, individual and family counseling, and review of clinical service plans. Ensure the fidelity of the evidence based program being provided to clients.
Community and Outside Agency Relations:
Work with the Lead Therapist and the State Director in the area of community education, promotion and marketing of Agency programs and services to relevant professional agencies, associations, companies and individuals. Participate in community civic groups or advisory committees, training sessions and community presentations/speaking engagements as assigned.
Evaluation and Management Information System:
Assist in the development and implementation of program monitoring, evaluation and research.
Program Services /Administration:
Complete client-related documentation and maintains client files and statistics and makes log entries on all shift activities when required. Complete incident reports as required.
Security & Client Supervision:
Recommend program terminations and coordinate in accordance with Agency and referral source policies. Maintain a working knowledge of and abide by the Agency's programs, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
POSITION
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Master's Degree and two years' experience in substance abuse and/or mental health including experience working with the criminal justice population. Possess knowledge or and adherence to standards of confidentiality.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to get to and from office, various work place locations and training sites.
WORK AUTHORIZATIONS:
Must successfully complete employment screening checks and re-checks.
Must notify CSI of any criminal or MV history and must notify CSI of any police contact for criminal or MV violations within 24 hours.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates at a location that may have a lot of activity and noise and may be subject to heat/cold variances. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/faxes, tape recorders and filing cabinets.
