CONTRACT SPECIALIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Interpreting and ensuring that contract actions are in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards or procedures; 2) Reviewing procurement requests to assure clarity, adequacy, and completeness; 3) Serving as contractual authority on the acceptability and applicability of contractual matters on contract actions, and providing advice, training, guidance, and interpretation to the team on procurement regulations, policies, and procedures; and 4) Advising on and conducting the procurement process from solicitation to award and through all post-award phases of contracting, including modifications, processing payments, final invoicing, final evaluation, and closeout. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
