FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Preparing fire protection engineering design drawings, specifications and documentation for facility components and systems; 2) Preparing contract requirements, proposal and bidding procedures and documentation for the acquisition of facilities fire protection systems; 3) Managing fire protection projects to ensure project scope, schedules and costs are not exceeded; 4) Providing technical solutions to fire protection engineering issues.
